Angela McGarry (nee Murray) passed away on Tuesday, January 14th, 2025, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff in Pine Ward, University Hospital Waterford.
Predeceased by her husband Thomas, son Ronan, parents James and Margaret (Drumsna), sisters Crissi, Peggy, Patsy, brothers Seamus and P.J.
Beloved mother of Martina, Joan, Danny and Damian. Mother-in-law of Michael, Sheana, Amelija and Caroline.
Dearest Granny to Clodagh, Caroline, John, Ciarán, Daragh, Killian, Iman, Darian, Miriam, Rachel, Lauren, John, Edel and great granny to Fionn. Deeply regretted by her brother-in-law Michael McGarry (Washington D.C.), sisters in law Chris Murray (Drumsna), Rita Geoghegan (Carlow) and Irene McGarry (Washington D.C.) cherished nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at her daughters’ residence in Waterford City on Wednesday, January 15th 5.30pm to 8pm. House private after 8pm.
Removal from Waterford to her son’s residence in Ballygeeher Bornacoola, Co. Leitrim on Thursday, January 16th. Reposing from 5.00pm to 7pm. Prayers at 6.30pm.
Requiem mass at 12 noon in St. Michaels Parish Church, Bornacoola, on Friday, January 17th, (ive stream https://www.facebook.com/people/McGowan-Funeral-Directors/100057513906236/ ,followed by burial in Cloonmorris Cemetery, Bornacoola, Co. Leitrim.
