Anthony Carroll

16th February, 1935 – 31st October, 2024
Peacefully, in his 90th year, after an illness bravely borne, in the exceptional care of the staff at Sligo University Hospital, with his beloved family by his side.
Predeceased by his Parents Dan and Bridget and brothers Fr. Brian and Donal and infant granddaughter Emma.
Much loved husband of Ethel and father of Daniel, Brendan (Oranmore), Mary (Brady, Elphin), Anthony and Brian. Sadly missed by his wife and children. Deeply regretted by his brother Paddy, daughters-in-law, Martina, Eithne and Anne Marie (Aine), son-in-law Cathal. Always remembered by his grandchildren, Aimee, Aaron, Sean, Conor, Paul, Brian, Mark, Shane, Eoin and Dara. Deeply regretted by his sisters-in-law Teresa, Eva, Margaret and Charlotte. Nieces, Rebecca, Rachel, Ruth, Eleanor and Leah, nephews Donal and Padraig, relatives, good neighbours and a wide circle of friends

Reposing at his home in Rhue - N41 HW35 - on Saturday (2nd Nov) from 12noon to 5pm and on Sunday (3rd Nov) from 12noon to 5pm followed by removal at 6.15pm to St Brigid’s Church, Dangan to arrive at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Monday at 12noon. Kilmore Cemetery is where Anthony will be laid to rest.
SHUTTLE BUS SERVICES will run, during the repose at the family home in Rhue, on both days from Kilmore GAA Pitch N41 A3E7 and from Dangan Community Centre N41 TK61 car parks to the house. We kindly ask all motorists to park at either of these two locations and follow the directions of the stewards, for everyone’s safety. Thank you.
