Bridget (Bridie) Whelan (née Quinn) died on Sunday, 15th December 2024. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and in the care of the wonderful staff of Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar.
Predeceased by her mother Katie, father John and son-in-law Seanie Reilly.
Sadly missed by her loving husband Ronnie, son Sean and daughter Sinead. Remembered by her daughter-in-law Melissa, sisters; Kathleen and Philomena, brother John. Dearly loved by her grandchildren; Shelly, Niamh, Olivia, Shauna, Ronan, Darragh, Peter and Katie and great-grandchild Ronan. Deeply regretted by her brother-in-law Dan, nephew Daniel, niece Maria and Noel Allen – who was a part of Bridie’s household for many a year, relatives, many good friends and neighbours.
Reposing for close family, friends and neighbours in her son Sean's home, Curradooey, Longford, (N39 A039) on Tuesday (17th December) from 6pm until 8pm.
Reposing in the Chapel of Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, Templemichael Glebe, Longford (N39 XE92) on Wednesday (18th December) from 6.00pm, concluding with prayers at 8.00pm. All welcome. Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock on Thursday (19th December) in St. Mel’s Cathedral, Longford, followed by burial in Ballymacormack Cemetery.
