Bridie McDermott (née Farrell) passed away on Saturday, 23rd November 2024. Peacefully, in her 93rd year, in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of The Sacred Heart Hospital, Roscommon, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Frank, daughter Bridget Elizabeth, granddaughter Michaela, daughter-in-law Maura, parents; John and Kate Farrell and her brothers; Bernie, John and Bro. Edmound.
Sadly missed by her children; Ann (Ryan), John, Agnes (Dolan), Padraig, Bridie (Mullaney), Martha (Fallon) and Oliver. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren; David, Ciara, Conor, Aoife, Michelle, Sinead, Jack, Aaron, Cathal, Noah, Oren, Ava and Zara. Always remembered by her great-grandchildren; Tadhg, Eliza, Layla and Rian. Deeply regretted by her sons-in-law; Tommy, P.J., Gerry and Michael, daughters-in-law; Martina and Olive, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neigbours.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Monday evening from 6.30 o’c until 8 o’c followed by removal to St Brigid’s Church, Four-Mile-House. Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday morning at 11.30 o’c. Burial afterwards in Oran Cemetery.
