Christopher (Christy) Hughes passed away on Tuesday, 3rd December 2024 , peacefully in loving care of his family and the staff in Oakwood Nursing Home, Roscommon.

Predeceased by his parents Martin and Josephine Hughes and his sister Mary Brennan.

Sadly missed by his brothers Tom (Roscommon) and William (Galway), his nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Christy's Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Flanagan's Funeral Home, Castleplunkett (F45 HX59) on Friday from 6 pm until 7.30 pm,
followed by removal to St. Patrick's Church, Ballinaheglish.
Requiem Mass at 11:30 am on Saturday in St. Patrick's Church, Ballinaheglish, followed by burial in Oran cemetery.
