Sincere sympathy to all the O' Dowd family and friends on the death of Chris. He did great work for the whole GAA community not just in Shannon Gaels but in the whole county. His interest in the parish was immense, his help to younger people was greatly appreciated and his enjoyment in sport was infectious. A true Gael.

The Croghan CE/Fas committee and workers offer sympathy to the O'Dowd family on the sad passing of Chris. WE all enjoyed his company at the GAA pitches in the parish and his help and advice was always well measured. He also did a good barbecue. Rest in peace.
