Cissy (Rose, Anne Marie) Higgins (née Brennan) passed away on Thursday, 6th March 2025. Peacefully at the Croft Nursing Home, Inchicore, Dublin in her 99th year .
Predeceased by her husband; John Patrick (Higgins), her parents; Tom and Mary Ann (Brennan), brothers; Joe and Mike, brothers in law; James, Bernard and Hugh, cousins and many dear friends.

Sadly missed by her family; Mary, Patrick and Ann and her beloved sister Anne. Adored by her cherished grandchildren Dara, Feidhlim, Eoin, Hugh; Sean, Tom, Pierce, Faye, Danny, Matthew and Kate. Deeply regretted by her granddaughters-in-law, grandson-in-law, her 13 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law; Carmel, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, close friends and neighbours.
Cissy will repose at Glennon's Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road, Longford (Eircode N39 EC81) on Wednesday the 12th of March 2025 from 3.30pm concluding with prayers at 5.15pm. Removal to arrive at St. Mel’s Cathedral, Longford for funeral mass on Thursday morning at 11.00am followed by burial to Cloone, Cemetery, Co. Leitrim.
