Derek Mannion
Ardmullen, Kiltoom, Athlone, Co. Roscommon.
Friday, January 3rd, 2025, peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Hermitage Clinic, Dublin, after a long illness bravely borne, age 52 years.
Derek will be remembered for his warmth, kindness and generosity of spirit.
He will be forever loved and sadly missed by his heartbroken parents Joe and Nell, sister Olivia, nieces Ellen and Alannah, nephew Rian. Brother-in-law Simon, extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins with whom he was incredibly close. Colleagues in Lucan Educate Together School and his many good friends.

Derek will repose at St Brigid's Funeral Home Brideswell (N37 EK88) on Sunday evening (Jan 5th) from 4.00 o'clock with removal at 6.30pm to The Church of the Risen Christ, Kiltoom arriving at 7.30pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Monday morning (Jan 6th) at 11.30am with burial afterwards in Kiltoom Cemetery.

His family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Hermitage Clinic and Beaumont Hospital who cared for Derek with great compassion and dignity.
