Donal Conlon passed away on Saturday, September 28th , 2024, peacefully, with his family by his side, at The North West Hospice, Sligo.

Predeceased by his brother Michael and his parents Kathleen and Michael.


Dearly loved brother of Carmel, Tess, Gabrielle, Phyllis, Frances and Betty.

Sadly missed and fondly by his loving sisters, brother-in-law, uncle, aunt, nephews, nieces, his boating friends on the River Shannon, relatives, good neighbours and friends

 

May Donal rest in eternal peace.

 

Reposing at his home in Carnadoe on Monday (30th Sept.) from 2pm to 6pm. Removal on Tuesday morning (1st Oct.) to St. Brigid’s Church, Dangan, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30am.  Kilmore Cemetery  is where Donal will be laid to rest. 

 

The Conlon family appreciate your sympathy and prayers at this sad time.

I'm so sorry to hear of Donie's passing. On our last visit he was doing so well despite the challenges. I'll miss him when visiting the area again. He enjoyed reminiscing about his days in the 1970's working in the boatyard on Rochestown road in Cork and drinking 7up in the evenings while watching TV in the Norwood Court Hotel! He was a pleasure to spend time with. Such a Gentleman.
