Eileen Woods (née McGowan) passed away on Saturday, February 8th. Peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, Derry, surrounded by her loving family .
Predeceased by her parents Norah and Patrick. Her eight loving siblings: Jim, Dora, Kathleen, Larry, Annabella, Jack, Felix and Gerry and sisters-in-law Mary and Veronica predecease Eileen.
Deeply missed by her children Yvonne, Eileen, Noel and Brian, their partners Brian, Liam, Mary and Eimear. Remembered by her grandchildren Lauren, Elena, Liam, Jordan, Evamarie, Evan, Rian, Saoirse, James, Sadhbh, Donncha, Jessie, Ian and Harley. Sadly grieved by her nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in law and her many relatives, neighbours, friends, and her dear Doreen.
Reposing at The Heritage Chapel of Rest, Church Lane (N41KP62) Carrick on Shannon on Monday 10th of February from 5pm until 7pm. Followed by removal to Saint Brigid’s Church, Killargue arriving 8pm. Requiem Mass will take place there on Tuesday at 11am followed by burial in Killargue Old Cemetery.

Eileen’s family would like to thank the wonderful and caring staff of Altnagelvin Acute Medical Unit who helped ease her final days.
