Elizabeth Hensey (née Hanly)
Weekfield, Roscommon and formerly of Lisnaria, Roscommon.
February 10th, 2024; (Peacefully), in the devoted care of the staff at Sacred Heart Hospital, Roscommon, surrounded by her family.
Beloved wife of the late Sean, daughter of the late Paddy and Bridie and sister of the late Kathleen.
She will be forever missed by her loving daughter Carmel, grandsons; Dominic and Luke, sisters; Bridie, Marion and Carmel, brothers Sean and Padraic, aunt Lucy, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May Elizabeth rest in peace.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Monday evening (February 12th) from 5.30 o’clock until 7 o’clock followed by removal to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Ballyleague. Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday at 11 o’clock. Burial afterwards in Cloontuskert Cemetery.
Family Flowers only. Donations if desired to the Comfort Fund, Sacred Heart Hospital, Roscommon.
The Hensey and Hanly family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to all those who looked after Elizabeth during her illness and also to everyone for their kindness and support at this time.
