Ethna Waldron (nee Kilkenny) passed away on Tuesday, January 21st, 2025, peacefully, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her husband Micko, her brothers Tom and Brendan.
Loving mother to Kevin (Roscommon), Martina Henry (Castlerea), Aidan (Castleplunket), Yvonne (London) and Michelle Keaveney (Castleplunket). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons, daughters, her adored grandchildren Laura, Joseph, Michael, Lucy, Sarah, Megan, Hannah, Grace, Zita and Harry. Deeply regretted by her brothers, Joe (Castleteehan) and Michael (Manchester), sons-in-law Joe, Dermot and Yvonne‘s partner Mick, daughters-in-law, Kate and Patricia, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McDonagh’s Funeral Home Castlerea, on Thursday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock.
Due to the Status Red Weather Warning for Co. Roscommon issued by Met Eireann and in the interest of all concerned, the funeral Mass for Ethna Waldron will now take place on Saturday afternoon at 1pm in St. Paul’s Church, Kilmurry and not on Friday as previously advertised. Viewing as normal in the funeral home today (Thursday) evening from 5pm
Burial afterwards in Rathmoyle cemetery.
