Evelyn Shannon died on Sunday, November 19th 2023, peacefully at her home, surrounded her loving family.
Predeceased by her parents Seán and Agnes Shannon. Evelyn will be sadly missed by her loving sisters; Monica Kelleher (Jamestown) Kathleen Rabbit (Claremorris) and Dorothy (Cootehall) her brother Austin (Australia) her nieces; Tara, Roisín, Aisling, and Saoirse, nephew Diarmuid, Gavin, Mikey and Joey, brothers-in-law; Raymond, Michael and John, sister-in-law Carol, neighbours and friends, and all her family in Hilltop, Sligo.
Evelyn will repose at the residence of her sister Dorothy, Tobertaravan, Cootehall, on Monday (20th November) from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Removal to St. Michael’s Church, Cootehall, on Tuesday morning (November 21st) for celebration of Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in Ardcarne Cemetery.
