Fr Eamonn Corkery died on Tuesday, 17th December 2024, peacefully in the loving care of the nurses and staff of Our Lady’s Manor Nursing Home. Parish Priest Emeritus of Dromard and former Curate in Mohill and Ferbane.
Pre-deceased by his parents Patrick and Catherine, sisters; Lily-mae, Molly, Sr.Annette, Celine and Veronica and by his brothers; Fr.John, Patrick, Simon, Aidan and Michael.
Lovingly remembered by his family, sisters; Philomena (Gerety) and Angela (Shanley) brothers; Nelius and Oliver; sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, Bishop Paul Connell, his brother priests and religious of the Diocese of Ardagh and Clonmacnoise, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Thursday 19th December from 2.30pm until 4.30pm, followed by removal to St.Mary’s Church, Legga, to arrive for evening prayers at 5.30pm. Requiem Mass on Friday 20th December at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.
