Genevieve Ganly passed away on Friday 9th February 2024. Peacefully in Portiuncula Hospital Ballinasloe , after a long illness borne with dignity.

She was surrounded by her loving family

Predeceased by her parents Bill and Annie, sisters Elizabeth (Betty), and Carmel, and brothers Patrick (Paddy) and James and also her life long friend Eamon Glesson (Bealnamulla).

Greatly missed  by her brothers TJ (Tubberclair), Willie (Clane), Oliver (Ballydowd, Lucan). Deeply regretted by her sisters-in-law, Ann, Mary, Rose and Catherine, brother-in-law Richard, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May She Rest In Peace.

Reposing at her niece’s (Alacoque O'Connor) family home at Kilkenny West, Glasson, Athlone (N37VW60), on Saturday (10th February) from 3pm to 7pm. Arriving at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Tubberclair on Sunday (11th February) at 10-45am followed by Mass of the Resurrection at 11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
