Gerry Mc Cauley pased away on Tuesday, January 28th, peacefully at home in the care of his heartbroken family .
Predeceased by his parents Barney and Mary.
Forever Loved by his wife and best friend Imelda, his adored daughters Sarah and Niamh. Sadly missed by his brothers Michael, Brian and Sean. Deeply regretted by is brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and his many good friends. Always remembered by his work colleagues and his loyal customers of The Tyre Warehouse, Granard.
You were always someone special,
Someone kind and true
Who will never be forgotten,
For we thought the world of you.

Reposing in Connell’s Funeral Home, Church St, Longford, N39 KN66 on Friday 31st from 6 o’clock concluding with prayers 8 o’clock. Removal from his home on Saturday 1st February to arrive to St. Mary’s Church, Newtownforbes, for Funeral Mass at 12 o’clock. Gerry will be laid to rest in the local cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society c/o Connell Funeral Directors or any family member.
Family home strictly private at all times please.
PLEASE NOTE: The Tyre Warehouse, Granard will be closed on Friday 30th January and Saturday 1st February.
