24^th May 2024 (peacefully after a very short illness) in her 89^th year at Limerick University Hospital surrounded by her loving family in the loving care of the Doctors, nurses and staff.

Pre-deceased by her husband Mel, parents James and Mary, sister Philomena Mac Mahon, brothers Joe, Jim, Peter and David.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, daughter Angela Kerin, son-in-law Mark (Lahinch), adored grandchildren; Roberta and Harry, nieces; Bernadette, Monica, Catherine and Helen, nephew James, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins, neighbours and friends.

Gertrude will repose at her residence Hillcrest Lodge, Summerhill, Carrick-on-Shannon on Monday 27^th from 4 o’clock until 5.30 o’clock with removal to Mary’s Church, Carrick-on-Shannon arriving at 7 o’ clock.

Mass of Christian burial on Tuesday at 11 o’ clock with funeral afterwards to St. Mary’s Cemetery.
