Brusna, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon and late of Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny.

Ita McCabe (nee Jackman) passed away on Thursday, January 16th.  Peacefully yet unexpectedly at Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar.

Predeceased by her beloved daughter Sandra McCann, her sister Marie Flynn, her brother Denis Jackman, step-sisters Ellen Overy, Nina O'Mara, Catherine Bartlett, step-brothers Eamonn and Gerry Long.

Sadly missed by her heartbroken family, her husband Seamus, sons John and Seamus. Always remembered by her grandchildren Paul, Cian, Chloe, David, Shauna, Oisin, Zara and Leah. Deeply regretted by her  son-in-law Martin, Seamus' former partner Michelle, John's former partner Breege, her sister Margaret Quinn (Fethard, Co. Tipperary), relatives, neighbours and her many friends.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

Reposing in The Kilgarriff Funeral Home, Ballaghaderreen on Sunday evening from 5 o’clock concluding with evening prayer at 7 o’clock.
Removal from her home on Monday morning to arrive at The Church of the Sacred Heart, Brusna for Mass of the Resurrection at 11:30am.  Burial afterwards in Naomh Mobhí cemetery, Kilmovee.
