James G. Sweeney passed away on the 21^st December 2024 , peacefully in the loving care of the nurses and staff of Laurel Lodge Nursing Home.

Pre-deceased by his parents; James and Maud and by his beloved wife Thérése.

James will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family , daughters Mary and Catherine, sons James and Nick, daughters-in-law Linda and Ursula, son-in-law Peter, sister-in-law Sr.Mary, grandchildren Sophie, Isabelle, Rebecca, Doyle, Sarah, Katie, Tom and Jamie, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Sunday 22^nd December from 5.00pm concluding with prayers at 7.00pm. Mass of The Resurrection on Monday 23^rd December in St.Mel’s Cathedral at 11.00am, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack cemetery.
