Toberkeagh, Ballintubber, Co. Roscommon and 79 Cumberland Road, Dundonald, Belfast.

February 2nd, 2025 (peacefully), at Portiuncula Hospital Ballinasloe, surrounded by his family.

Predeceased by his parents, William and Esther.

Jim will be sadly missed by his daughters Della (Holmes Selvin, Dublin), Gemma (McDonagh, Ballintubber) and their mother, Alice. Grandchildren James, Joseph, Aidan, Saoirse, Caitlin, Erin and Nora. Also, by his brother Donald (Newtownabbey), sons-in-law Noel and Damien, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law. Nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, neighbors and his many friends, especially Roy.

James will repose at McDonagh’s Funeral Home, Castlerea, on Thursday evening from 5:30pm until 6:30pm. James’ committal service and cremation will take place at Roselawn Crematorium, Belfast, at a later date.
