James (Jim) Scanlon passed away on Friday, October 18th, 2024, peacefully at home after a short illness.
Pre-deceased by his parents; Johnny and May.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sister Mary Jones (Birmingham), his nieces and nephews. Deeply regretted by his sister in law Dorothy Scanlon, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McDonagh's Funeral Home Castlerea, on Monday evening from 6pm until 7:30pm. Private cremation will take place in Mount Jerome Crematorium Dublin, on Tuesday. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Mayo/Roscommon Palliative Care services c/o McDonagh Funeral Directors, Castlerea
