Jim (James) McGovern died on Saturday, July 20th 2024, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family in his 90th year.
Predeceased by his parents; John and Mary and his sister Rose. Jim, much loved husband of Josephine (née Keigher), father of; Mary, Olive, Breda and Niall and adored grand-father of Caoimhe, Oscar, Ethan, Aoife, Maebh, Emily, Cathal, Cillian and Liam.
Jim will be greatly missed by his family, his sister Maureen, his sons-in-law; Frank (Byrne), and Sheldon (Norton) and Eric (Praud), his daughter-in-law Breege, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many, many good friends.
Reposing at his home (N41HF20) in Shannagh Grove, Mohill, County Leitrim on Monday,July 22nd, 2024 from 4pm until 7pm followed by prayers.
Removal on Tuesday 23rd July to St. Patrick's Church, Mohill for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial afterwards in Mohill Cemetery.
