Jim (James) McGovern passed away on Tuesday, March 12th, peacefully at Lough Erril Nursing Home, Mohill.

Predeceased by his parents Jim and Sarah.

Sadly missed by all his relatives, cousins, neighbours and friends

May Jim Rest in Peace

Jim will repose in Lough Erril Nursing home, Mohill on Friday 15th March from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Funeral mass will take place in St Mary's Church Cloone on Saturday 16th March at 11am followed by burial in Aughavas old cemetery.

Jim's relatives would like to thank the wonderful staff of Lough Erril Nursing home , Mohill who cared for Jim over the years.

Sincere Sympathy on hearing of the passing of Jim May his gentle Soul Rest in Eternal Peace. Remember so Well of seeing Jim in his Home on my way Home from Rossan Mass back in the days My father, Peter McNamara, would tell my late brother Pat RIP., to go out to Jim’s Home to Play Cards. Would want Pat to be going to the Pubs. Would not want Pat to be going to the Pubs So Pat was in a Safe Place there with Jim. May Jim’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace. Amen. 🙏

It was with great sadness. I heard of the death of Jim McGovern. A quiet, decent, man. May his gentle soul rest in peace. My deepest sympathy to his close relatives.
