Monday, 6th of May 2024 peacefully at Roscommon Hospice, surrounded by his loving family, after an illness bravely borne.

John Dowd, predeceased by his parents Thomas and Mary.
John will be sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, sons; Cathal and Fergal, his daughter-in-law Deborah and Fergal's partner Emma, adored by his three grandsons; Donnacha, Diarmuid and Oisin, his brother Tommy, mother-in-law Lillie, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours, and a large circle of friends and loyal customers.

Reposing at his home Corspark, Glinsk, Co.Galway F45 PY80 on Tuesday the 7th of May from 5pm - 8pm. Removal from his home on Wednesday morning for 11 o'clock mass in St. Michaels Church, Glinsk with burial afterwards in Ballinakill Cemetery.
