John passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, in Sligo University Hospital on Saturday 6th July 2024.
Sadly missed by his wife Kathleen, sons Laurence and John, daughters Majella and Cathy, daughters-in-law Laura and Suzanne, son-in-law Colm. Grandchildren Matthew, Daniel, Niamh, Ruth, Clodagh and Eloise, sister Mary Fallon (Galway), cousins, relatives and a large circle of friends.

John will repose at the Patrician Hall, Cortober, Carrick-on-Shannon (N41 XR79), on Sunday 7th July from 3pm until 5pm with removal to St. Michael’s Church, Drumlion, arriving at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Monday 8th July at 12 noon. John will be laid to rest afterwards in Drumlion Cemetery.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired, to the Irish Heart Foundation c/o Dermot Foley, Funeral Director.
