John Joe Kearns died on Friday, 3rd January, unexpectedly at Portiuncla Hospital, Ballinasloe.
Loving husband of Elizabeth and much loved father of Alan, Yvonne, Gina, Lynne, Shane and Edel.
John Joe will be sadly missed by his sorrowing wife and family, sons-in-law; Oliver; Brian and Rob, daughters-in-law; Mylyn and Jen. Grandchildren; Anna, Robbie, Miranda, Conor, Maeve, Gabriel, Cian, Oisín and Roisín, great-granddaughter Amelia. Brother Seamus (Navan), sisters; Thecla Sforza (New York), Teresa (Carniska), Dolores Banahan (Derrane), nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, cousins, neighbours, relatives and friends.
John Joe is predeceased by his parents James and Eileen, sisters; Patricia, Sr. Eileen, Helen, Margaret and more recently by his brother Padraig.
Reposing at McHugh's Funeral Home, Strokestown, on Sunday evening, January 5th, from 4pm until 7pm. Removal from his home on Monday, January 6th, to Carniska Church, to arrive for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Lissonuffy Cemetery.
