John Sorohan passed away on Tuesday, January 21st.

Predeceased by his parents, Charlie and Ellen, sister Alice, brothers Dan, Mick and Charlie, son in law Sean Mulleady, nephew Philip and grandnephew Daniel.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife Rose, sons Cathal, Sean and Gary, daughters Teresa, Eileen and Laura, son in law Gerard, daughters in law Liz and Mary, his adored grandchildren Sharon, Claire, Bridget, Alan, Mark, David, Sean, Josh, Grace, Jack and Fionn, sisters in law, nephews and nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81), on Thursday, 23rd January, from 5 o'clock, concluding with prayers at 8 o'clock. Removal from his home on Saturday, 25th January, to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Newtownforbes for Funeral Mass at 2 o'clock. Following Mass, John will be laid to rest in Newtownforbes Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Padre Pio Unit, St Joseph’s Care Centre, Longford c/o Sean Whitney, Funeral Director or any family member.
