Mairead Nicholson (née Dolan) passed away on Wednesday, January 17th, 2024. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the wonderful care of the nursing and medical staff of Brooklodge Nursing Home, Ballyglunin, Co Galway.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Tony and her parents Patrick and Mary Dolan, Gurtymadden.
Mairead was much loved by her daughter Lorraine and son Gerard, her brother Michael, sisters Breeda and Phyllis, grandchildren Michael, Aoife and Sinead, sister-in-law Bridie, brothers-in-law Brian, Ken and Jimmy Boylan, daughter-in-law Caitriona, Lorraine’s partner Peter, nephews Colm, Gavin and Matthew, nieces Ciara, Sarah and Allison, extended family, friends and neighbours.
May Mairead rest in peace.
Reposing at Smyths Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Thursday evening (January 18th) from 5 o’c until 7 o’c followed by removal to St Mary’s Church, Kilbegnet (F42 AY75). Mass of the Resurrection on Friday at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in Kilbegnet Cemetery.
