Oranmore, Co. Galway and formerly Greatmeadow, Boyle, Co. Roscommon.

Friday 31st January unexpectedly but peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of the University College Hospital, Galway, surrounded by her loving family.

Pre-deceased by her parents James and Tessie Spellman and her beloved husband John.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, sons Sean (Cork), Trevor (Los Angeles), daughters-in-law Eileen and Margaret. Sister Breedge Nolan (Cortober, Carrick-on-Shannon), adored grandchildren, Gerald, James, Conor, Sean, Ciara, Cillian, Orna and Ronan. Brothers-in-law Joseph and Barry, sisters-in-law Kay, Mary, and Marie, lovingly remembered by her godson Derek Nolan. Dearest friend Sr. Brid Carty, the wonderful staff and residents of Brampton Care Home, Oranmore, Galway, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Marietta’s funeral cortege will arrive at St. Joseph’s Church, Boyle on Monday evening the 3rd February at 6 o’ clock.

Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 11 o’clock with funeral afterwards to Killaraght Old Cemetery.
