Martin (Martie) Smith
Corrocot, Mount Talbot, Co Roscommon.
Thursday, October 17th, 2024. Peacefully in the excellent care of the staff at The Roscommon Hospice in his 94th year, in the presence of his loving family.
Predeceased by his wife Katie, son Martin and his sister Maureen.
He will be sadly missed by his sons, Edward, Padraig and Seamus, daughters Marie and Anne. Sons-in-law Brian and Dave, daughters-in-law Laura and Sylvia. Grandsons David, Stephen, Gary, Adam, Luke, Kevin and Sean, granddaughters Celine, Sinead, Aine and Maeve and great-grandson Leo. Nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends and a special thanks to his niece Mary.
May Martie Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Hamrock's Funeral Home, Athleague (F42CC92) on this Friday (18th October) from 5pm to 7pm followed by removal to The Church of Christ the Good Shepherd, Four Roads (F42P681). Funeral Mass on Saturday (19th October) at 11.30 am with burial to take place afterwards in Tisrara Cemetery.
