Mary Duignan (nee Lyons) died on  Tuesday, 16th July 2024.

Formerly of Newbridge, Co. Galway, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family in the loving care of the Claddagh Ward, UHG, after an illness bravely borne.

She is predeceased by her brothers; Tom and Jimmy and granddaughter Gemma.
Mary will be sadly missed by her loving husband Paddy, sons; Noel, Kieran and Padraig, daughters; Caroline and Martina, her cherished grandchildren; Cian, Aran, Emily and Cathal, daughters-in-law; Eleanor, Tara and Cathriona, son-in-law Aidan, sister Nonie, brothers; Johnny and Paddy, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Gaynor’s Funeral Home, The Square, Castlerea (Eircode F45 HH24) on Thursday (18th July) from 5 pm to 8 pm.  Funeral arriving at St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 am on Friday (19th July). Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Mayo / Roscommon Hospice.
