Saturday  14^th September 2024. Peacefully, in her 97^th year surrounded by her loving family in the exceptional care of all the staff of Roscommon Mayo Hospice.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband John, son Mal, brother Malachy and sister Kathleen (Connolly)

Mary will be sadly missed by her son Gerry (Australia), daughter Assumpta Downs (Galway), Joan McNamara (Ardmullen); daughter-in-law Mary, sons-in-law; Steven and Stuart, her adored grandchildren; Sarah, Jessica, Ailbhe, Louise, Clíodhna and Kieran, great-grandchildren; Liam and Evie, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at St Brigid’s Funeral Home Brideswell (Eircode N37 EK88) on Monday 16^th September 2024 from 5-7pm.

Funeral Mass on Tuesday (17^th September) at 11 o’clock in St. Brigid’s Church, Curraghboy (N37 X348) with burial afterwards in Kiltoom Cemetery.

The Gilligan family appreciate the sympathy and support of her wonderful neighbours, relatives and friends at this difficult time.
