Mary Walsh (née Beattie) passed away on Wednesday, September 25th, 2024. Peacefully, but unexpectedly, surrounded by her family, in the wonderful care of the staff at Portiuncula University Hospital.
Pre-deceased by her beloved husband and best friend Mick, her infant son Martin, daughter-in-law Annette, parents; Jim and Katie and her sister Anne Morgan.
Forever missed by her heartbroken children; Mícheál, Martina, Georgina and Seamus. Deeply regretted by her brother Joe, sister Ina Alecock, son-in-law Declan Dunne, daughter-in-law Marion Dolan. Her grandchildren; T.J., Jodie, Bobby, Stacey, John, Stephen, Michael, Francis and Darragh, great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many good friends, will always remember Mary

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Friday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock. Removal from her home on Saturday morning, arriving to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Ballyleague for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 o’clock. Burial afterwards in Derrane Cemetery.
Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to St Francis’ Ward at Portiuncula University Hospital, Ballinasloe.
