Ardnacraney, Drumraney, Athlone, Co Westmeath

Tuesday, 12th December 2023, peacefully, following an illness fought with bravery, dignity and good humour, surrounded by her loving family in her home.

Maureen Hanley (nee Carey)  predeceased by her loving husband Mick and her son Michael.

Sadly missed by her daughters; Patricia and Sandra, her sons; Ian, Mark and Sean, her brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours. Rest in Peace.

Reposing this Thursday afternoon in the Church of the Immaculate Conception Tang from 4 o'clock until 7 o'clock. Requiem Mass on Friday at 11 o'clock followed by burial in Temple-a-valley cemetery.

The family would like to express their deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to the Longford Palliative Care team, carers Tracy and Patricia and the Moate Health Care Centre staff  Aine, Maura and Hugh.

House private please and family flowers only, donations in lieu to Longford Palliative Care, Health Centre, Dublin Road, Longford.
