Who passed away peacefully in her 99^th year, in the wonderful care of the staff of University Hospital Galway, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, 23^rd July 2024.

Predeceased by her loving husband Bill, sister Delia, brothers Marty, Tom, John Joe, Michael, PJ and Willie.

Deeply missed by her sons; Gerry, Christy (New York), Colm, Ollie, PJ, Cyril (Cavan) and Ciaran (Mulhussey, Co. Meath), daughters Carmel McElligott (Moycullen) and Maura Murray, her 27 adored grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, sisters Rose Colleran (Creagh) and Kathleen Guinan (Clonshask), sons-in-law Martin and Ernie, daughters-in-law Marian, Josie, Breda, Ita, Maureen and Geraldine, sisters-in-law Nancy(NY) and Aine (NY), nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, friends and neighbours.

May will lie in repose in Áras Mhuire Funeral Home in the grounds of St. Killian’s Church, New Inn (H53P6C0) on Thursday 25^th July from 5pm – 7pm.

May’s Requiem Mass will take place in St. Killian’s Church on Friday 26^th July at 12 noon, followed by burial afterwards in Bullaun cemetery.

Donations if desired to the Palliative Care Unit, University Hospital Galway.
