Monday, 16th October peacefully, following a short illness, in the tender care of the nurses and staff at Portiuncula Nursing Home, Multyfarnham, with his heartbroken family by his side.
Pre-deceased by his parents JohnJoe and Annie, brother Pat, sisters; Mary, Kathleen and Anne. He will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his devoted wife and best friend Betty, daughters; Amanda (McGee) and Linda (Maine), son David, sons-in-law; Finbarr and Dave, daughter-in-law Edel, his cherished and adored grandchildren Nicola, Ciara, Grace, Jack, Eve, Abbey, Holly and his great-grandchildren Fionn, Dáire and Cuan, sisters Eileen McLoughlin (UK) and Frances Murray (Ballinasloe), brother-in-law Eamonn, sister-in-law Kathleen, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, wonderful neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at his home (N91 E6W9) on Thursday (19th Oct) from 4.30pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 11am in St Joseph's Church, Milltownpass, with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Portiuncula Nursing Home. Donation box at the house.
House strictly private on Friday morning, please.
