Michael Hopkins died on Sunday, September 15th, 2024, peacefully, on his 99th birthday, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents; Peter and Mary, sisters; Margaret, Kathleen and Una and his brothers; Peter, Andrew and John.

Sadly missed by his sister-in-law Patricia Hopkins, his nieces and nephews Mary, Ann, John, Gerard and Ciaran McNamara, Mary and Carmel Hopkins, Margaret Kinsella and John and Andrew Hopkins. Deeply regretted by his extended family, wonderful neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon on Wednesday evening from 4.30pm until 6 o’clock, followed by removal to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon. Mass of the Resurrection on Thursday at 11 o’clock. Burial afterwards in Assylinn Cemetery, Boyle.
