Michael Tansey passed away on Sunday, April 14th, 2024, peacefully, in his 95th year.  He was in the devoted care of the staff of St. Ann's Ward in University Hospital, Galway, surrounded by his loving family and his brother Leo.

Beloved husband of Betty, adored Dad to Maria, Martin Joe, John and Sarena. Loving grandfather to Sean, Sarena and Grace. Sadly missed by his family, brother Leo, sisters-in-law Pauline and Mary, John's partner Celine, sons-in-law Padraic and Justin, cherished nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Predeceased by his four brothers and three sisters.

May Michael rest in peace.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Wednesday evening 5 o’c until 6.30 o’c followed by removal to St Patrick’s Church, Clooneycolgan Mass of the Resurrection on Thursday at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in Oran Cemetery.
