Nollaig Whyte passed away on Wednesday, September 4th, 2024, suddenly but peacefully at her home.
Predeceased by her father Luke and brother-in-law Padraig Grady.
Sadly missed by her loving mother Margaret, sister Eileen, brothers Sean, Tommy and Gerry and sister-in-law Noreen. Deeply regretted by her nephews Gearoid and Luke, nieces Mairead, Shóna and Karen. Remembered by her uncle Mick Whyte, aunts Bridie Kelleher and Mary Healy, aunt-in-law Shirley and uncle-in-law John Kelleher. Always remembered by her cousins and extended family, her many close friends and neighbours and work colleagues, especially Leitrim County Council, Roscommon County Council and more recently Department of Education.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon on Friday evening from 5 o’c until 7 o’c. Removal from her home on Saturday morning at 10.30 o’c arriving to St Patrick’s Church, Athleague for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in Athleague Cemetery.
Family flowers only. Donations if desired can be made to Athleague Tidy Towns/We Are Athleague.
