Owen Atkinson passed away on Monday, November 20th, 2023, peacefully at his home surrounded by his darling wife and family.
Predeceased by his father Colm, beloved husband of Susan (nee Shanley) and dear father to Euan, Elliot, and Darcie. Sadly missed by his wife and children, mother Pat (Patricia), brothers Philip (Anna), Paul (Kim), Ian (Aine) and Kenneth (Emma), father and mother in law Tom and Mary Shanley, Cloonboney, brothers in law Dermot (Edel), Morgan (Claire), and Bobby (Orla), sister in law Selina (Gary), his Auntie Ann, his Godmother Roly (Rosaleen), uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, colleagues, neighbours and friends.
May Owen Rest in Peace
Owen will repose at The Heritage Chapel of Rest, Church Road, Carrick on Shannon (N41KP62) Tuesday from 5pm until 7pm.
Funeral cortege will leave his home Wednesday morning at 10.30 to arrive at St. Joseph’s Church, Cloonturk (N41PF82) for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan H12 RF78 at 1.30pm.

House private to family and close friends.
Please note there will be no 10am Mass in St. Michael’s church, Bornacoola on (Wed) morning.
