18th March, 1942 - 19th August, 2024.

Paddy Joe Beirne passed away peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at both Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe and at Oakwood Nursing Home, Roscommon.

Predeceased by his infant daughter, parents Patrick and Kate and brothers Alphonsus and babies Joseph and Gerard.

Beloved husband of Peggy (nee Dockery) and loving father of Caroline, Paul, Sheila, Mark and Rose.  Sadly missed by his sorrowing wife and family, brother Gerry, brother-in-law Pat, sisters-in-law Esther, Bernie Kelly and Kathleen McDermott. Always remembered by Rose’s husband Bernard, Sheila’s partner Dermot, Carolines partner Val, Pauls partner Zanele. Beloved grandfather to his grandchildren Ciara, Kyle and Alfie John. Missed by his nieces Niamh, Laura, Caitriona and Louise, relatives, good neighbours and many friend.

Reposing at Brady’s Funeral Home, Elphin on Thursday (22nd Aug) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Friday morning to the Church of the Holy Trinity, Kilmaryal for Funeral Mass at 11am. Paddy Joe will be laid to rest  in the adjoining cemetery.
