Wednesday 17th April 2024 peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his family.

Predeceased by his parents; Paddy and Cissy (Mary) Higgins.

Sadly missed by his brother; Phil Higgins, sisters; Mary Higgins, Ann Leddy, Bernadette Bourke, Veronica Daly.  Sister-in-law; Edel Higgins, brothers-in-law; Eamon Leddy, Tom Burke and John Daly. Nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Phil and Edel Higgins, Cattan, Mohill, Co. Leitrim (Eircode N41 RR29) on Thursday 18th April from 5pm - 8pm. Remains to arrive at St. Mary's Church, Gortletteragh on Friday for funeral Mass at 12.00pm followed by burial to Cloone Cemetery.

House private at all other times please.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Irish Cancer Society c/o McKeon’s Funeral Directors, Cloone or any family member.
