Patsy Connaughton (née McGuire)
Sandfield, Knockcroghery, Co. Roscommon.
February 14th, 2025. (Unexpectedly but peacefully); in the wonderful care of the staff at Portiuncula University Hospital, Ballinasloe.
Much loved and devoted wife of the late Andy and dear mother of Brian, Tom, Andrew, Padraig, David, Aidan, Martin, Noel, Paul and her adored daughter, the late Sinéad.
She will be very sadly missed by her family, daughters-in-law; Imelda, Deirdre, Loretta, Olivia, Bernie and Aishling, grandchildren; Aaron, Rachel, Ethan, Louise, Aisling, Gary, Ciara, Daniel, Emma, Seoirse, Alisha, Brandon, Mia and Sophie, sisters-in-law; Mary (Galway) and Bridie & her husband Seamus (Woodford), brother-in-law Bernard & his wife Dolores (Portumna), neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
She is predeceased by her parents Frank and Elizabeth and brother-in-law Thomas.
May Patsy rest in peace.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Sunday from 4 o’c until 6 o’c. Removal from the family home in Sandfield on Monday morning at 10.30 o’c arriving at St Patrick’s Church, Knockcroghery for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in Gailey Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
The Connaughton family would sincerely like to thank the wonderful carers who helped care for Patsy. They’d also like to acknowledge their friends and neighbours for their kindness at this time.
