PC (Peter Christopher) Healy
Dublin Road, Rochfortbridge, Westmeath / Keshcarrigan, Leitrim.
Friday, 5th January 2024, peacefully, following an illness borne with great courage and dignity. He was at his daughter's home in Castlefore, Keshcarrigan, Co Leitrim, in the wonderful care of his partner and his family.
Pre-deceased by his wife Mary (Maguire), infant son Gerard, parents Christopher (Kit) and Kathleen, sisters Mary (Donohoe) and Betty (McGuinn), brother Johnny.
Sadly missed by his heartbroken daughter Bridgette (Biddy) (McGovern), sons Declan (Birmingham, UK) and Christopher (Enfield), his devoted partner Lorraine. Always remembered by his cherished and adored grandchildren Orla, Saoirse, Alanna, TJ, Cian and Jack, great-grandson Seání. Deeply regretted by his son-in-law Denis, daughters-in-law Lynn and Elaine, sisters Ann (Corrigan), Philomena, Cathy (O'Brien), brothers Tom and Brendan. Forever missed by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces. Missed by Lorraine's family in the UK, cousins, extended family, neighbours in Lickey Hill, Rednall, Uk, the Forde family (Galway), and a wide circle of friends in Ireland and UK.
May PC's Gentle Soul Rest In Peace
Reposing at John Healy's Chapel of Rest, Rochfortbridge (N91 R291) on Saturday (6th Jan) from 3pm until Rosary at 7pm. Removal on Sunday morning from the Chapel of Rest, Rochfortbridge to St Brigid's Church, Drumcong, Leitrim to arrive for Funeral Mass at 11.30am with burial afterwards in the New cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired to North West Hospice. Donation box at the Chapel of Rest or give through the family.
The family would like to sincerely thank the Nurses, the Palliative Care team, the Night Nurses, Fr Ciaran and the wonderful neighbours and friends for the care and help to PC and to his family during their time of need.
