Born on February 11th, 1932
Peggy Keane (née Kelly) died on January 23rd, 2025 peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Roscommon Hospice, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her husband Mattie, parents Willie and Ellen-Frances, sister Frances, brothers; Joe, Mick, Tommy and Willie. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons and daughters; Rhona Nally (Rathfarnam), Eileen (Newbridge and Leitrim), Michael (Roscrea), Bernard (Athleague), Martina o Shea (Naas) and Dermot (Athleague). grandchildren, great- grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends, especially her dear friend and bridesmaid Kathleen Dowd.
Reposing at Hamrock's Funeral Home, Athleague (F42CC92) on Sunday (26th January) from 4pm until 7pm . Removal from her residence on Monday (27th January) to St Patrick's Church, Athleague for Funeral Mass at 11.30am followed by burial in Athleague Cemetery.
