Peggy Whitney (nee Tuohy) died on Wednesday, 4th December 2024 (peacefully) at Sligo University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Pre-deceased by her parents Tom and Mary, husband Sean, son Adrian, daughter Caroline.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her devoted family, daughter Sharon Wynne (Drumshanbo), sons; Damien (Sligo) and Alan, son-in-law James, daughter-in-law Mary, grandchildren; Rebecca, Christian, Laura and Mya, sister Phyllis, brother Tommy, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Peggy will repose at St. Patrick’s Hospital Chapel, Carrick-on-Shannon on Saturday evening the 7th December from 4 o’clock until 6 o’clock with removal to St. Joseph’s Church, Leitrim Village arriving at 7 o’clock. Mass of Christian burial on Sunday the 8th December at 10.15 o’clock with funeral afterwards to Kiltoghert Cemetery.
