Peter Joseph Henry died on Saturday, January 18th, 2025 suddenly yet peacefully with his family by his side at University College Hospital, Galway.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Isabella (nee Hurney), his parents Peter and Anne, brothers; Francis, Pat and Seamus and his sister Mary.
He will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, sons; John, Peter and Philip, daughter-in-law Loretta, grandchildren; Jonathan, Daniel, Nessa and Pete his brothers; Gerry, Sean, Micheal, and Vincent, his sisters; Nancy and Theresa, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, Sean Og and family, the extended Henry and Hurney families, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives his very good and kind neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Peter Joseph will lie in repose at home in Billamore, Oughterard (H91 C7KA) Monday evening from 4 o’clock to 7 o’clock and on Tuesday evening in The Gibbons Funeral Home, Ballinagare from 4:30 o’c to conclude with evening prayer at 7:30 o’c.
Funeral will arrive to The Church of the Sacred Heart, Ballinagare Wednesday for Mass of the Resurrection at 12noon. Burial afterwards in Cloonshanville Cemetery.
