Sean McDermott passed away on Wednesday, January 15th, 2025. Peacefully, surrounded by family, in the devoted care of the staff at Oakwood Nursing Home, Roscommon.

Predeceased by his parents Mary Ellen and Michael, brothers Seamus and Barney and by his sister Mary O’Connor.

Sadly missed by his brother Michael, sister-in-law Nora, nieces Stephanie, Pauline, Patricia and Eithne, nephew David, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and good friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon F42 NH27 on Friday evening from 5 o’clock until 6.30 pm. Removal from the O’Connor family home in Tullaghan, Ballymurray on Saturday morning at 12 o’clock, arriving to St Joseph’s Church, Kilteevan for Mass of the Resurrection at 12.30 pm. Burial afterwards in Kilteevan Cemetery.
