Sheila Walsh (nee Dowd) died on Monday, 20th January 2025 .

Pre-deceased by her daughter Mary Bridget McNamara ( Leganomer, Aughavas) parents Bernard and Bridget Dowd , sisters; Bridget and Mary Kate and by her brothers; John and Bernard.

Sheila will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, brother Michael Dowd ( Williamstown, Co.Galway ) sister-in-law Teresa, grandchildren; Eugene and Sheila McNamara, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and all the wonderful staff of Laurel Lodge Nursing Home.

Reposing at Laurel Lodge Nursing Home Chapel, Longford (N39 XE92)  on Thursday 23rd January from 5.00pm, concluding with prayers at 7.00pm. Mass of the Resurrection in the Church of the Blessed Virgin, Newtowncashel at 2pm  on Friday 24th January.  Interment afterwards in Rathcline cemetery.
