Wednesday May 15th 2024. Peacefully in her 90th year, surrounded by her loving family and in the tender care of the staff of Sligo University Hospital, following a very brief illness.
Shirley was predeceased by her beloved husband Jim in 2001.
Shirley Martin will be sadly missed by her heartbroken family, daughters; Mary
(Lafferty) (Castlerea), Catherine (Carrick-on-Shannon) and sons Tommy
(Fostra) and James (Carrick-on-Shannon). She will also be dearly missed by her devoted grandchildren whom she cherished so much - Daniel, Isaac and Ruth, her son-in-law Paul, her numerous relations, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at Shivnan’s Funeral Home, Ballyfarnon (F52WT26) on Saturday 18 th May (3pm-7pm) Reposing at her home on Sunday 19 th May for family, neighbours and close friends (4-7pm)
Removal from her family home in Fostra, Keadue to St. Patrick’s Church, Crossna (F52NV09) on Monday morning (May 20th) arriving for Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in Kilronan Cemetery.
